About the Show

Bob's Burgers is an American animated sitcom created by Loren Bouchard for Fox Broadcasting Company. On May 14, 2012, the show was renewed for a third production season that premiered on September 30, 2012. On October 16, 2012, the show was renewed for a fourth production season of twenty-two episodes, scheduled to air during the 2013-2014 broadcast season. The show centers on a family that runs a hamburger restaurant. Loren Bouchard stated that Bob's Burgers came out because of Fox's animation brand centers mostly on family, but that he also wanted to dabble in workplace comedy. The show is said to fill the void created by the cancellation of King of the Hill, which Jim Dauterive worked on for nearly its entire run.
